This is Northwest Airlines flight #436 from Minneapolis/St.Paul - Tampa, Florida.

We were in a holding pattern over the Gulf for 45 minutes because of a HIGE thunderstorm. When I got to baggage claim my dad says that the rain was POURING and the wind was probably gusting to about 50 MPH. he said that we were the first plane to land when they started clearing us to land.
